Dealing with the death of a loved one is never easy. 

   It can be especially difficult for children.  The non-profit Art & Soul Arts Therapy Camp for Kids provides a safe place where kids, ages 5—15, and their families can freely share thoughts, feelings and fears about the death of a loved one through artistic projects which allow for creative expression.

 Set at the beautiful, rustic Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Missouri, away from the stresses of daily life and with the support of professional grief specialists and fellow campers, the Art & Soul Camp can help kids work through profound grief.

About The Program 

Under the guidance of professional bereavement  and arts staff, campers participate in activities involving art, music and recreation through which they can explore grief.  Support groups for children provide a supportive environment where campers (if they feel ready) can share stories about their loved ones and learn techniques to cope with their feelings.
